A small group from a church in Barrhaven will be going to Sarajevo to teach sewing classes for one week in April. This is the continuation of a project that was begun in 2005. The group is in the process of raising money to cover the project expenses through a variety of events all  to be held at the church: Barrhaven Fellowship Christian Reformed Church which is located at 3058 Jockvale Road in Barrhaven (Nepean).

These events are open to the public and participants are welcome.

Saturday, March 24th, 1-3 pm

- STAMPIN'UP WORKSHOP FOR MAKING GREETING CARDS. - the workshop is mainly for ladies but children 5 yrs. and older are welcome if accompanied by a parent.

Cost:$ 25. Every person will leave with 4 or 5 cards he/she has made. 

Saturday, April 7th, 10 am - 2 pm

- CARD, CRAFT AND BAKE SALE. The crafts featured were made in Zenica by an organization called Peace Crafts.
